Alina Luft-Cojocaru

Current Responsibilities

Currently Alina is heading the Valuation department at Jones Lang LaSalle, starting with February 2017. Alina joined JLL in mid-2015 as a Senior Valuer.
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Alina worked for nearly 8 years at Cushman & Wakefield Romania, where she has been a Senior Valuer for the past two years.
Alina has also experience within the research field, having worked for a year as a Research Consultant within the Client Service Department at Mercury Research, and for two years within the Research department of Cushman & Wakefield,
before joining the valuation team.

Experience

Ms. Cojocaru has more than 12 years of experience in research and valuation. She has been involved in a range of valuation and consultancy instructions from individual properties to portfolios across the region.
Valuations range from those required for loan security to asset valuations for accounting purposes and valuations for acquisition purposes.
Major clients include Deutsche Pfandbriefbank, Sonae Sierra, WDP, CBRE GI, Plaza Centers, Immofinanz, Nomura Bank, BCR Erste, Raiffeisen Bank, HYPO NOE Gruppe Bank AG, Volksbank/ Immigon, BRD, amongst others.

Education and Affiliations

Ms. Cojocaru holds a Master Degree in Management Consultancy and Business Development, as well as a Bachelor Degree in International Business, both from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest.

Alina is a member of the ANEVAR (National Association of Valuers in Romania) since 2011 and also of RICS since 2016.

As an ANEVAR member, she is also part of the ANEVAR Bucharest Branch Council for 2018-2019, as well as a member of the ANEVAR Commission for Internal and International Relations.
