Costin Banica expands his current role as Business Developer Industrial for Romania
JLL has announced today that Costin Banica, Business Developer Industrial Agency, has been appointed to the role of Head of Industrial for Romania, effective 17th February 2017. Costin joined JLL Romania last year as Business Developer Industrial in charge of supporting the management in seising the opportunities in this growing market. Costin will continue his current role alongside with his new local responsibilities, developing the company's industrial and logistics business and will be providing leasing consultancy and tenant representation services to a variety of clients including developers and end users.
Costin has more than 14 years' experience in sales out of which 4 years in Real Estate. Costin is one of the most active and respected consultants in the market, his name being linked to landmark transactions for companies such Inteva, Quehenberger or Faurecia.
His predecessor – Cristina Pop, was with JLL for over 3 years and is now moving into Asset Management territory with one of JLL clients.

JLL's Industrial Department in Romania is one of the market leader, with almost 25% of 2016 transactions in local market. Among the main customers include Profi, Antalis, DB Group, Delamode, KLG, SE Bordnetze, CTDI, Gebruder Weiss, Delfingen etc.

Romania will remain highly attractive for both industrial developers and occupiers due to its strategic location in Europe and also to the large consumer market with growing spending power. We expect 340,000 sqm of new developments tobe delivered this year, which is almost the same level as the volume registered in 2016; we can safely assume a stable market growth".
